Description: This week it’s the Dungonnell Way which takes in the Dungonnell Dam, Glenariff Forest Park and Skerry Road East. The walk is listed as being 9.5 miles but we’ll be starting and finishing in the Forest Park which adds a couple of miles! However, the walking is on hard surface the whole way, either forest tracks or tarmac road, which will make the going easier and we should finish in about 5 hours. The Skerry Road is mentioned on the WalkNI website as ‘probably one of the most attractive, but least used roads in the whole of Northern Ireland’!
Transport: If you require transport from Larne, or if you're going directly to Glenariff please contact me - details below.
